Feature Writing (Profiles): Knowing Your Students

The goal of this curriculum is to help students write well and think critically by getting them engaged with the people around them while teaching them important digital skills. Many English programs today focus on the five-paragraph literature based essays to the exclusion of other types of writing. Personality feature writing helps students learn an important writing style and use the skills necessary for good writing, i.e., good grammatical structure, good word choice, good observation and good critical thinking skills.
