Your instructions were (1) to meet (at a café?) before the film to share your background research with your group members; (2)  to take good notes during the film; and (3) meet just afterward to share your thoughts with each other.  The hope was that by asking for these three extra stages of sharing/thinking, that the quality of your reviews would improve.  Was that the case?  Let your teacher know how true you were to the process, and how useful each stage proved to be.
